Short presentation of the institution

ULAK runs, since 1992, a lending library, hosted in a suitably shaped space in the seat of the Union. Library is manned with specialized clerks (2 library scientists) and provides high quality services. Except from the permanent library, it disposes 2 mobile libraries that, in a daily basis, visit the schools, the military camps and the Municipalities of the whole Prefecture.

The library has more than 7.500 books, carefully codified in categories. The categories are literature, scientific, technical and specific interest.

The subscribed readers are more than 1050, without taking into account the hundreds of students of the schools.

The library participates actively in the cultural life of the Prefecture by participating and/or organizing book fairs, literary events dedicated to remarkable authors.
