ACRE Project SOCRATES Programme No 87259-CP-1-2000-1-FR-GRUNDTVIG-ADU No 114271-CP-1-2004-1-FR-GRUNDTVIG-G1 - 12 - Several initiatives seem carrying results right now; they would deserve a complementary work of research, reflection and experimentation. Thus: ✓ the centralized telephone number made available in the United Kingdom and which one finds leaflets of A5 format in all public places (stores, stations, administrations, services...) readily available. ✓ the Internet site of Gobierno of Aragon in Spain that makes available, from day to day, all information concerning systems of education, the publics, rights of access... (cf http://portal.aragob.es/servlet/page? ) ✓ the JAPD (Journée Appel Préparation Défense - Day Calling for Preparation for Defence) in France for the under- 25’s... it would be anyway interesting to find an absolute needed equivalence for the over- 25’s because, at the age where young people attend the JAPD, learners insufficiently endowed with fundamental achievements are too often in rejection of any educational programme and often already dispersed in the intricacies of life. The testing period had a duration of 6 months with a group of 20 F/M volunteers from 18 to +65 years old. Their origins were various such as local inhabitants, beneficiaries of day activities, long life learners with low level of education, … Teachers from training centres (CY-ES-FR-HU-IT) looked for then prepared documentation to be tested by the group. The group itself built grid for evaluation; they proposed it to the consortium of ACRE partners for validation. All learners had to test all cards; they gave notation till 10. Cards under 5 are not included in this ACRE catalog.
