ACRE Project SOCRATES Programme No 87259-CP-1-2000-1-FR-GRUNDTVIG-ADU No 114271-CP-1-2004-1-FR-GRUNDTVIG-G1 - 8 - For its part, the town of TORREMAGGIORE, local public authority and Italian firstly- partner of the ACRE project, presents the "LLEIP" like a community service to be offered to its inhabitants. The meticulous knowledge of the population concerned is an important point because the facilitators will work as close as possible to users. Times of information will be regularly set up that will convene, on the one hand, operators of the "LLEIP" and, on the other hand, the potential participants whether they showed up at the facilitators in a voluntary way or whether they are the facilitators who initiated the contacts because of their knowledge of the people and/or the problems they are dealing with (diagrams of local culture). Depending on the set of themes approached, certain members of the CARL could be solicited to come to enrich the debates by their knowledge from the territorial system (legislative and/or operational). The interest to widen competences of the "Point Information Education Continued" with the provision on site of supports and contents is, first of all, of an economic nature since there is no creation of service as such (use of the buildings and means technical existing in the departments of the town hall dedicated with this service of proximity; at most, would have to be added data-processing stations). Then, that also makes it possible to work with the contents trainings placed at the disposal and it is not interdict to think that these teaching products are elaborate in connection with the economic activities developed on the basin of local employment.
