If you have a firm grasp of your values, decisions can usually be made quickly and with confidence. Also, building close relationships requires one to know your personal values to connect those of similar values. It is true that values are caught in the childhood and consciously teaching values is not an easy process. Even though the world changes rapidly, the values that people need to develop are actually not really much different. Showing respect to others, for instance, or caring for the environment are just as important as the topics that have been learned at schools.
